Rotary valves

MG series

The MG valve is a compact 3 / 4 port valve made of brass in sizes from DN15-32 for use in heating and cooling installations.

The MG is suitable for automatic control when used with the Series 60 actuator, and may be fitted with a knob for manual operation.

MG valves have female/male BSP threads DN 15-32 and in the 3 port version compression fittings for 22mm and 28mm O.D. pipes.

Valves series 3 MG are made of a special brass alloy (DZR) and therefore also suitable for domestic water installations.

This valve has a much reduced leakage rate (0.01% in certain applications) preventing temperature rise under no flow conditions.

All major parts are replaceable.

G and F series

3 port valve

The 3 port G and F valve is intended for use in heating and cooling systems to control and distribute the operating medium.

The G valve is available with BSP female threads DN20/50.

The F valve is available with PN6 flange DN20/150.

4 port valve

The 4 port valve has a double mixing function, i.e. part of the hot water supplied by the boiler is added to the return water. This results in a higher return water temperature than can be achieved with a normal 3 port mixing valve, reducing the risk of corrosion and assuring a longer life of the boiler.

The required flow water temperature is obtained by mixing boiler hot water with a suitable proportion of the return water. The scale indicator is graduated on both sides allowing a choice of mounting positions.
