New mixing valves and actuators from ESBE set a new standard.

2007-10-08
New mixing valves and actuators from ESBE set a new standard.

Simpler and more compact installation, larger range, minimal leakage and even better regulating precision for more and new areas of application. These are just a few of the many features the new generation of mixing valves and actuators has to offer.
Prior to the launch, interest in the new generation of mixing valves and actuators was enormous. During the development process, ESBE interviewed installation engineers, OEM partners and wholesalers throughout Europe to find out what their wishes and requirements were.

Lower energy consumption.
Our mixing valves already had a low level of internal leakage - thanks to our own patent from 2003. Now we've succeeded in bringing the leak rate down even further. From 0.1 to 0.05 percent of the flow. And this under double pressure, i.e., at 100 kPa (1.0 bar).

Higher regulating precision.
More stable mounting between valve and actuator results in higher regulating precision. Unstable mounting - where there is movement in the actuator - is, of course, the cause of impaired adjustment. The actuator has to *parry* even the smallest movements. This results in wobbly adjustment causing comfort and power consumption to suffer: excessive fluctuations of temperature and unnecessary surplus heat. With four *towers* instead of one round the spindle between valve and actuator, the resulting assembly has greater stability and adjustment is smoother.

More new features.
· Quicker and easier assembly of actuator and valves. More smart solutions resulting in fewer stages in the operation and the need for fewer tools.
· All valves (from DN15 to 50) are now made of the corrosion-resistant material DZR.
· 15 mm more compact motorized valve (valve with assembled actuator). A huge advantage particularly when you want to integrate the valve and actuator into heat pumps, boilers, pump groups or other finished products.
· New features and the use of brass throughout the range offer completely new areas of application, for example:
- systems with large temperature differences
- fancoils where a high degree of precision is required
- systems with independent, controlled circuits that require a low degree of valve leakage,
for example combined radiator and underfloor heating circuits
- comfort cooling where the secondary circuit requires a constant, circulating flow
- solar heating, gas/oil - systems with external temperature dependent adjustment
- solar heating and other systems with double accumulator tanks, etc.

Bigger range than ever.
We have expanded our range of mixing valves and actuators by more than 20 per cent:
· The new range includes an all new 3-way variant of change over valve DN 15 - 50 which,
in combination with a new actuator (15 seconds running time), opens up many more areas of application.
· The range of ESBE's unique BIV valves has been extended to DN 15 - 50.
· Expanded range of actuators offering a total of 34 different standard variants to choose from.
· Increased number of valve variants in both 3 and 4-way designs. All produced in brass, DN 15 - 50 (formerly DN 15 - 32).
